The battery charger NRG-1 is provided with and electronic converter able to control both voltage and current flowing into the battery. The charging curve adopted is the IUoUo (DIN 41 773)
Initially, to accelerate the charge, the current is kept at a constant value, while the voltage tents to the gasification point.

When the battery voltage is reached, it is kept constant; while the current value gradually decreases. When the set time is ended, the charger decreases the voltage to a maintenance value until the charger is turned off or disconnected from the battery.
